Easter 2011

So, after saying this was the worst Spring Break ever, it actually ended up being a great couple of days to end it up.  Yesterday, we started with an Easter egg hunt at church.  I wasn't sure how Walker would do or if he would have any idea what to do, but that little boy figured it out pretty quickly and was running to find all of the eggs and put them in his basket. 

We also got to go to Marlowe's first birthday party!  It was wonderful and it is so hard to believe that all of these "babies" are growing up so fast!!  (PS... Stacie, your post made me cry)

Today, we went to church and then ate Easter dinner at Nana's and attempted a second Easter egg hunt.  Walker wasn't quite as excited to find the eggs today, but LOVED dumping them all out of the basket and watching Mama put them back in :)

After what I said was the worst Spring Break ever, I realize it was actually the best.  I got to spend 9 whole days with my sweet baby boy.  There is nothing in the world I love more than that.

Worst Spring Break EVER

So, yes, it's official.  This has been the Worst Spring Break Ever.  Let's see, it began with Nathan calling on Sunday to say he messed up his shoulder and we needed to go to the emergency room.  A few hours later, X-rays confirmed a separated AC joint.  Awesome.  Let me just say this will be the LAST time he goes paddling at the beginning of Spring Break.  All of those projects and fun things planned, down the drain.  Instead, I am stuck with a husband who can't lift his son and a ton of things that still need to be done around the house.  Since I am being "single mom" this week, it also means I am falling further and further behind on house work and don't even get me started on grad school crap!  (deep breath) 
Okay, I'm finished.  Now off to take care of my babies :)
