Pictures From the Past Week
So, since Daddy was gone this weekend, we took lots of pictures to send him while he was gone. These are just a few...

I'm such a dork...

PS... Don't mind the random kid on the front. I just haven't put my precious baby's picture in yet :)

And that brings us to the present....
So, here we are in May! I can't believe my baby is 5 months old! He seems like such a little boy, now. Where is my baby?? He is babbling like crazy and I think his first tooth should be making an appearance any day now. The poor thing is drooling like crazy and gnawing on anything he can get his hands on (including his hands!). My precious baby gave me the sweetest card and roses for my birthday. I think his Daddy may have helped with it a little bit. He also gave me a card and the most beautiful spring boquet of flowers for my first Mother's Day.
Nathan and I are counting down the day until we are out for summer vacation. Only 8 more days with students!!!!!! I am so looking forward to spending the days with my baby, taking him to the lake and the beach for the first time, and continuing to watch him grow, change, and learn by the day.
4 months
April was a jam-packed month for our family! Walker had his first Easter and was pretty intrigued by the basket that was as big as he is! At his 4 month appointment, Walker got his shots (much worse this time around!) and weighed 18 lbs! He has also grown a total of 6 inches since he was born. Since he seems to be gaining weight just fine (understatement of the year!!), the doctor suggested cutting down on his formula and starting solid foods. He is LOVING it!
On April 11th, Walker was baptised at our church, Bethel Presbyterian. Grandma, Pop-Pop, Uncle Matt and Aunt Jenifer, Cope, Aunt Stink, Aunt Karen, Nana, and Papa Coach were all here for the event (pictures to come!).

3 months!
At 3 months, Walker weighed 13 lbs. 14 oz! I had to go back to work on March 15th... Boo! But, since Nana and Papa Coach are watching him, it hasn't been quite as bad as I had anticipated. I sure do miss that boy during the day, though!!! Before I went back to work, I took Walker to meet Jacoby Ford at Walhalla Elementary School. He was so sweet with Walker, but my poor boy just screamed the whole time! I'm pretty sure it was because his Papa Coach told him he would never be as fast as Jacoby!
So.... I'm slack.
Okay, so obviously I suck at this blogging stuff. By looking at this, you would think our Walker was still tiny and it was still cold outside. Neither are the least bit true! I am going to make a goal to try and blog at least once a week, if not more. I have been inspired by some blogs that I have begun following, so I have revamped my page and am ready to tackle this with new energy! Here goes nothing....
